About Mawadda
One question a night, for the two of you
Mawadda is an app for Muslim couples, after the nikah or on the way to it. Every night you are both asked the same question. Your answer stays sealed until your spouse has answered too, and then you read them together.
Why it exists
A small habit, kept every night
Most apps built around Muslim marriage stop at the introduction. Mawadda starts after it. It is for two people who have already chosen each other.
One shared question every night makes talking about the things that matter a habit. A few honest minutes a night is all it asks of you. Around that question sit the rest: Candid photos for married couples, games for two, Dealbreakers, and Sulh Mode for the hard nights.
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً

Principles
Sealed answers
You both answer before either of you reads, so neither answer is shaped by the other one. Then the two open together, side by side.
For two people only
There are no profiles to browse and no strangers. A pairing is exactly two accounts, and every game is built for exactly two players.
Rooted in the deen
The name comes from Quran 30:21. Sulh Mode draws on the tradition of reconciliation, with a reminder to make wudu and a dua. Verses and hadith are quoted with their references.
Private by design
What you write is shared with the spouse you invited. We do not sell personal data. Either of you can disconnect or delete the account from Profile at any time.
Plain about money
Mawadda is free to use, and the free tier has ads. Mawadda Premium is optional, removes the ads, and one plan covers you both.
Seeds that give
For every 10,000 Barakah Seeds the community plants, the founders of Mawadda give $1 to orphan care on the community's behalf.
Mawadda is not a dating app
Nobody finds anybody here. You pair with your own spouse by an invite code the two of you share, and everything you write stays between you.
Who makes it
